Nov 5 – Nov 19

We have another opportunity to host the annual Christmas party for families, children, social workers and judges with the Department of Social Services.

Last year, our church was able to bless these children and families with an abundance of gifts. It was a great opportunity to rally this community together to let them know we care, we see them and how important they are.

Grab a gift tag and information sheet in your campus lobby.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I get?  On the back is a description of the kinds of gifts you can get for the specified age group. Since we do not have specific sizes we try to limit gifts to non-clothing items Each child should leave the party with multiple gifts, so when you commit to ONE child please know that this does not mean one gift, but many gifts. There is no price limit. Please note that any movies or video games gifted should not be violent in nature, rated R or M. If you are unsure, please ask.

What is a family gift? A family gift is something that the whole family can do together, a price range of at least $50. Think of things people like to do as a family: see a movie, go bowling, play games, go out to eat, enjoy time at SkyZone or Thunderbolt. Gift cards are usually best so that the family can create a fun night based on their family demographics. If you do gift movies, we ask that they are not R rated or violent in nature.

What is a social worker gift? A social worker gift is given as a small appreciation of all the unseen work they do throughout the year. We are asking for $25 Gift card per social worker. Some places that are usually a hit are: Starbucks, Target, Panera, Cold Stone, Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie, Chick-Fil-A, movie theaters, and shoe stores.

When do the gifts need to be brought back? We ask that all gifts are dropped off at the Christmas station on Sundays at either campus or the church office (M-Th: 9-5pm / F: 9-12pm) by November 19 to ensure that each child has received a proper gift. The gifts will be given out at a Holiday Party on December 1.

How should the gifts be brought? The gifts are to be brought in a gift bag with tissue paper but please do NOT wrap the gifts. Please place the tag taken from the board in the gift stating who the gift is for.
