ENERGIZE Fall Retreat

What is the Energize Fall Youth Retreat? Our whole group takes a trip away together in the Fall, the beginning of the school year. We know that as our lives become busier and full of distractions, sometimes our faith can get stagnant as well. At our Fall retreat, we want to give students an opportunity to re-energize their passion and energy to pursue Jesus to prepare for the new school year. Energize is a fun weekend of faith and connection with a special emphasis placed on building relationships, small groups, and reconnecting with God.
What Are The Requirements to Attend? The only requirements are that you are between 6th grade and 23 years old, have registered using the online form/s and submitted your payment to confirm your spot by the given deadline.
What is the cost? $120 per student
What Will The Schedule Look Like? We will meet at Church at 2:00pm Friday. We will return at 12:30pm on Sunday.
Friday – Evening Arrival, Dinner, Service, Bon fire, Lights out.
Saturday – Breakfast, Service, Activities, Lunch, Activities, Dinner, Service, Activity, Lights out.
Sunday – Breakfast, Service, Pack, Depart, Lunch (either provided on bus or stop on the way home).
What should my student pack? Please limit your packing to these items: A Bible, Towel, Toiletries, Shower shoes, Sleeping Bag/twin sheet/pillow, Snacks, Clothes for 2 days, Clothes that can get dirty, Dark clothes (for capture the flag). Swimming trunks for guys and a swimming suit with a long dark T-shirt for girls if you want to do water activities. If you plan on fishing, please bring your fishing pole and tackle.
Who will students stay with? Students are assigned a small group & leader for the retreat and boys and girls stay separately. Our different age groups will also stay separately.
Do you offer scholarships? What if I want to sponsor someone? Scholarships are available based on giving. We have a congregation that believes in our students and is very generous. Often times these individuals give money to sponsor a certain amount of students or a student in particular. We disperse this money at our discretion according to designation and need. If no sponsors are given no scholarships are available.
When is the deadline to sign up for the retreat? The deadline is August 25.
